This would create a nightmare if you've organized files in some way- you'll have to reorganize everything- but they don't tell you this. First of all it's important to know that the application does not maintain your file structure- it lumps everything by file type, e.g., all the jpgs end up in the same folder regardless of where they came from. I purchased the product, and ran a deep scan. I followed all the instructions prior to purchasing, but you have to purchase the product to actually recover more than 500mgs of data. What did I recover for $89? Two of my pictures and over 100K (just. I even continued the search to get more results as directed by the program. Thinking that it had recovered something of use to help me get my pictures back I paid the ridiculous fee of $89. jpg only, I still had over 36K which went over the 500Mb limit to use the "FREE" version. It recovered every icon and every graphic from every program that had been installed on my computer from the first day I turned it on. ![]() They say you can download the free version and try it out. ![]() I freaked out and started searching for recovery programs and at the top of the list was Disk Drill. Not realizing it until I emptied the recycle bin. I did not format or wipe the drive just deleted the folder with a bunch I no longer needed. In the process of downgrading my windows from 11 back to 10 I accidently deleted my folder containing my photos.
